Robin is the founder of VS ROBIN LAW OFFICES.

 

He is a post graduate in International Business and Economic Law with Certificate in International Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution from Georgetown University, USA. He has 18 years of experience as litigation and transactional lawyer.

 

As an arbitration lawyer, he was involved in arbitrations and arbitration related litigations worth billions of dollars. He was part of the legal team which successfully represented and defended the Government of India against an arbitration award enforcement in the USA. He was involved in several international commercial arbitrations and investment arbitration and has represented many domestic and foreign corporations.

 

Some of his recent major achievements include, establishing the liability of the contracting breaching party in a petrochemical complex construction arbitration worth INR 1.9 billion before Singapore International Arbitration Centre, successfully representing an oil exploration company in an arbitration worth USD 150 million.

 

As a transactional lawyer, he advised clients in the areas of foreign investment, technical and financial collaborations, acquisitions, restructuring, joint venture, foreign exchange and Reserve Bank of India related matters, corporate laws, mercantile laws and international trade, drafted, vetted and negotiated several agreements and contracts, and prepared due diligence reports, intellectual property rights documents, legal notices and legal opinions.
